Rausch Creek, PA (2013.04)
The folks at clubhummeroffroad and hummer4x4offroad are already pulling together the plans for the April 2013 Rausch Creek run. This is apparently the biggest run of the year, so I'd expect 20 or more trucks running green and blue trails (and maybe a burple here and there).
So far it's looking like late April; either the weekend of the 19th-21st or the 26th-28th. I'll continue to post info here as it becomes available. In the meantime, here's some info on the park: http://www.rauschcreekoffroadpark.org/index.php ...and a map to give you an idea of how close/far it may be from your location ...and here's the trailer from the 12/12 trip to give you a sample of the experience: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skMzM...ature=youtu.be |
Re: Rausch Creek, PA (2013.04)
The dates have been set...Friday, April 19th through Sunday the 21st.
There are upwards of 20 trucks tentatively scheduled to show up...skill levels ranging from first-timers to well-seasoned. They'll be folks from several Hummer forums and all are welcome. There's a Hampton Inn a few miles south of the park where we stay (https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&i...d=0CIMBEPwSMAI). The schedule usually includes tailgating Friday night in the hotel parking lot (grills and deep fryers included), a full day at the park for Saturday, and then breakfast on Sunday. Let me know if you have any questions. I hope some of you can make it. :clapping: |
Re: Rausch Creek, PA (2013.04)
A room block discount at the Hampton has been setup for the weekend of April 19th. If you call to reserve a room, mention the 'Hummer Club' and you'll get a discounted rate of $99 per night.
The number for the hotel is (570) 345-4505. |
