Safety Hook Color

I'm changing the color of my safety hook. I'm using blue synthetic line and I'm thinking of changing from an uncoated aluminum fairlead to a red anodized one. Of the three colors below which one would you choose?

This is the fairlead. I'm also thinking of staying with the fairlead I have on now.

Well I would pick blue because it matches the color of the rope and my H2.
The fairlead looks best polished, and you need to have DRTYFN stamped in it.
In my opinion:D
Don't you have a fairlead that's pewter?

I would just take your current one and have it powder coated the color you want. Out of the three colors I would go with the red. The yellow would go good but the red just looks better. The blue is just to pastel (ly).

Re: Safety Hook Color

DRTY with me not being into this stuff but, I do look at things that look good or safety. With red then blue rope I think it would look good with a yellow hook plus it would make the hook more safety concious concerning things coming loose some time. The eye seems to catch yellow quickest. I could explain that more but, for sake of brevity the yellow recommendation comes from experience in sport safety factors that i'm involved in. I would think should a hook come loose etc, that being able to spot it quickly could be very helpful and life saving. I would not BS You on this DRTY You know that.

Good Luck,

TAZ

First I would definitely do the rainbow color. I know deep down that's what you really hope everyone would tell you.

Secondly, with that camo paint job on the fairlead, I almost didn't see it.

Some, come on out you ghey boy!

I can't believe you actually care. What happened to belonging to the HeMan Woman Hater's Club. You should be proud!

OK, I don't know you guys, but why use a safe-T hook, what's wrong with an unsafe hook? Safety is for girls!:beerchug:

Safety hooks are the hottness. The new hottnesses are the safety thimbles.
