I have GOT to get one of those!!!! How COOL. Have any more pics????

Voempe 09-14-2005 08:18 AM

Huh?? The Alpha doesn't look that different from the original H1. The only things you can see in the pics are the heavy duty brushguard and the dark colored wheels. (and if you're a real connaisseur you might notice the 2" body lift as well). So, HummBeebe, what is it that makes these pictures so special?

No offence intended ofcourse, just curious

Btw, you can find quite some descent pictures of the H1 Aplha using google picture search.

As far as the pictures are concerned, how many pictures of $130+ vehicles plowing through mud did you find in that little google search of yours.

Voempe 09-14-2005 02:30 PM

I know that they've done some major technical changes that are invisible but you can't really see that on a picture do you?

And yes I found lots of pictures in my little google search. Ofcourse most of them were not alpha's but hey, if they're covered in mud you can't see any difference...

Gee thanks so much, I don't know here let me see. The brush guard is a cool design, looks even more agressive, the soft top looks different , the wheels are cool, the color is deeper I think could just be the photo, but anyway, not offended.

But why in the **ck do you care what I think?

There is nothing like good old South Bend Mud.

How was all of the guys at the Academy?

4churchill 09-15-2005 09:17 PM

I was at academy the end of August...It was a great time...all the guys are doin good, and I must say when they showed me those 20k houses you could buy next to the test track i seriously considered if it was worth it just to be able to go out and wheel with those guys

Arizona Hummerboy 09-15-2005 11:07 PM

I was there the Second Week Of August, I had a blast. The guys at the Academy are all great.

It was fun..got to see some old faces I hadn't seen in a while. I noticed in the Alpha that the TT4 worked 10 times better than some of the other H1s I had driven...and it was the first time I'd offroaded w/ front and rear lockers...pretty cool.
