Seat rewiring or re-working

Hey all,
I am thinking about my seat and how close it is to the steering wheel even when back completely on the tracks.

So I am wondering if anyone thinks or knows about the following ideas.

1) rewiring the motor to go in reverse. so that forward is backward and back is forward. possibly allow more back travel on the rails

2) flipping the rails and motor so that it thinks it is going forward when it is really going backwards, and vice versa (seems like there is more travel forward then back)

3) manually crank the seat all the way back, if possible, or go back even further then the seat allows for?

4) unbolt the seat, cut off the bolts sticking up from the floor, move the seat back 6-8 inches (install a spacer to fill the gap from the BCM hump), and drill and bolt in some new bolts?
