hi from germany,

i need your help. i have got my H3 2 weeks ago.
i posted in this forum the problems i had with my H3.

today i was at the dealer in hamburg and he told me that i need a new temperature sensor.

according to the mechanic the needed part will not arrive befor christmas.

now my question to you: !! plz help me !!

i would desperately ask u if someone of my H3 friends can help me and get the part from a hummer dealer and ship it to germany. i will pay by mastercard, paypal or something else. !! plz help me !!

unfortunately the mechanic wasn´t alowed to give me the exact part number and gave me only a rough description of the part and the position where to find in the engine compartment.

it is the temperatur sensor located on the right side of the cylinder head. i think he told me that it is the sensor on the fuel injection. it has an 8 inch (20 cm) wire with a plug on the end.

!! plz help me !!

does someone know this part? can someone plz go to the hummer dealer and buy it for me? or any idea of where to get?

thanks

best regards

carsten

This link goes to GM Parts Direct, they should be able to ship to Germany. Price is $11.94.
Does GM sell the Colorado over there, it should be the same sensor.

My experiences with them have been ok, except for the shipping. For Corvettes, they actually shipped GM parts. However, because of their shipping prices I started purchasing most of my GM accessories for the Vette from Ken Fichtner Chevrolet in Montana. He beat the shipping prices and usually the actual prices.
I believe they are a Chevy dealer located in NC or SC.

I did a number of PN# checks with them and most are at GM cost.
I don't know how they do it.....
Yes I do the make the 4% return reserve and the cfi money to make up for it.
Plus the the higher then normal freight.
FLOW will have a different practice as soon as they have to meet RIM compience.(Spelling is my strong suit)

Higher than normal freight? That sure is the truth. When I ordered my red ZO6 calipers for my 2003 Vette, the prices were the same as from Fichtner; however, shipping was almost 60 bucks more, and NC was a lot closer to TN than MT.
They have a set shipping price for each component shipped. Whereas, Bob the parts guy at Fichtner, puts them all in one box, then weighs the box and figures shipping on that.
I agree, they must be making their profit on shipping.
