Two Questions About SUT Bed
1. How does the plastic floor of an SUT bed come off?
2. How do you clean the trays that catch debris in the drains of the bed? Thanks, Charles |
Re: Two Questions About SUT Bed
This probably won't answer your question...but may lend some insight.

Re: Two Questions About SUT Bed
Thanks. I'll have to study that. Haha
And to those of you looking at this picture, I need to get part #35 out. |
Re: Two Questions About SUT Bed
I think you're on the right track...to get to 35 I bet you have to take 30 (and possibly 31) out; otherwise they'd show it on the diagram like 29 (above 30).
Good luck. |
Re: Two Questions About SUT Bed
That's kind of what I figured. I'm thinking that the bolts for the tie downs are what hold the plastic in place.

Re: Two Questions About SUT Bed
If you just need to clean them out, take a flat blade screwdriver and remove the covers (#29 in blow up). They are each held in by 4 tension prongs. Just pop 'em out. Then take your screwdriver and a pair of needlenose pliers to dig out the hard to remove stuff. Finish with a blast of water...
You can also just clean them out from below the truck with your finger, but they are easier from the top. |
Re: Two Questions About SUT Bed
I got the trays out and cleaned them.
The reason I was asking about the "floor" was because I noticed there's a small gap where acorns and such could get under it, and I wanted to take it off and clean it. |
