Pics of My SUT

I'm finally getting around to posting some pictures of my 2005 SUT.
Here's the highlights: Fabtech 6 inch lift, tweeked a bit for another inch or so All of the Cognito steering components Cognito upper control arms Edlebrock panhard bar Fabtech 2.0 shocks 38X13.50X20 Toyo MT's 20 inch KMC Hoss wheels 4.88 gears Dynatech long tube headers with high-flow cats Magnaflow exhaust Air Raid intake Superchips programmer Amp Research steps E&G fender flares Smoked marker lights Black suede headliner Kenwood headunit (touchscreen, DVD, etc...) Sreens in headrests Two 13 inch subs under rear seat in custom box (they're the REALLY flat subs) Grill and air 'humps' painted black FOX sticker - cheaper than a paint job, and comes off when I'm sick of it Probably some other stuff I'm forgetting. I also just treated the bumpers with Griot's Garage Bumper and Trim stuff....works great!! Much better than Mother's Back to Black. |
Re: Pics of My SUT
nice ride....but not a fan of fox emblem across side (just My opinion)

Re: Pics of My SUT
Like I said, the sticker was a lot cheaper than a unique paint job, and I can take it off when I'm tired of it. I thought of taking it off and putting a "hybrid" sticker on it. Haha

Re: Pics of My SUT
hi nice truck, and you should try and put the wiring harness back into the clips in the wheel well on the frame if its long enough.

Re: Pics of My SUT
Good eye! And yeah, I've tried. It doesn't seem to want to stay. Thanks for the compliments, too.

Re: Pics of My SUT
I really love it and it is giving me more ideas as to what to do with ours as time progresses.

hi try some wire ties to hold it in because it may get damage just flopping around their. |

Very nice ride!
I like the black/white combo, looks pretty mean. Good joob! If you need a brushguard let me know;) |
Re: Pics of My SUT
yea, you don't need a sticker to get noticed.

Re: Pics of My SUT
looks good.
did you do the performance mods before or after the lift? did they help much? |
Re: Pics of My SUT
Thanks for all the compliments, everyone!
The wiring tube doesn't flop around. I can barely get it to move. If it did, I'd put it back in the clip. Haha I bought the truck used with the general lift on it and some mods. But, I either changed or upgraded most of it. Probably the best mods were the gears, Cognito parts and, honestly, the AMP steps. The headers were a nice touch, too. Sounds awesome!! I owned the truck for quite a while before putting the sticker on, but it started to look like it needed something. But like I said, didn't want to paint it. There's a good chance I'll be pulling the sticker off soon and putting some smaller ones on from the companies' products I've used. Who knows? It's not my only car, so I have fun with this as far as mods go. |

Re: Pics of My SUT
new member here like the look of your truck how is the performance with the long tube headers? im looking in getting some for my truck
|
Re: Pics of My SUT
The performance is great. The sound is even better! I had my dealer install them, and they had no problems. It's not a "break-neck" difference, but it sure seems to run healthier.

Re: Pics of My SUT
