The good old days

I still remember walking into the showroom 10 years ago yesterday after I had business in Chesterfield, MO and wandered into a Lynch Hummer showroom. I called my wife to tell her I had bought a new Hummer and she thought I had lost my mind :) . The salesman took me over to Longhorn Steakhouse in a new H1 and made overnight hotel reservations for me and comping it all. I remember driving my new H2 SUT back to New York the next day There's nothing like a long drive home in a new vehicle - you never forget it! Then the Hummer salesman called me when I got home to ask how my trip was and how I liked my new H2. Those were the days!!

That picture looks familiar. That's where I bought all my Hummers when I lived in the Midwest. Lynch was the best buying experience I ever had.

A true shame how GM killed some of the best brands they had. Along with HUMMER I still can't believe they axed Pontiac!
