breaks squealing on '96 H1
 

Good afternoon everyone! I just recently picked up a 96 wagon with 38,000 mi on it and I have just been spending the last few weekends getting to know it. I had a '94 wagon back in 2000, and loved it, but a new family and a new business forced the decision to sell. My 96 had new brakes 3500 mi ago, and they are squeaking the last 30-40' when I come to a stop. I was just wondering if this is the nature of the beast, or if there is anything I can do, or if I should consider going to a high performance rotor and break pad set to get rid of the noise. I drove my old '94 25,000+ mi and never heard a peep from the breaks...
