Personally I'm a fan of leasing. I'm curious what everyone thinks about how the H3 will lease out? And what kind of incentives will GM offer on the new H3? We've determined there's really not much "buzz" about the H3, so will GM make it easy to buy one?

As far as GM is concerned, there is plenty of buzz. We've already got 30 or so promised to people and we're still 2 1/2 months away from it coming out. GM is planning a big advertising blitz in April, so you'll start seeing much more buzz then.
However, this vehicle will be mass produced, and should be able to keep up with demand well so there will probably be incentives. Just not right away.

Thanks for the good information. Yeah, I pretty much planned on waiting at least a year before any good lease specials come out. At this point it sounds like it's safe to assume there they will be selling for MSRP.

When a vehicle first comes out, residual values are way out of whack. We even saw this happen with the H2 SUT. The best thing, like you said is to wait a year. The bugs get worked out, and the pricing programs become more attractive

Maybe they will over estimate the res. value!

Higher residual = lower payments, as I'm sure you know, but if your like me, its bad. What I do is lease vehicles, then buy them out at the cheap residual, and re-sell them for a profit, because the residual is usually lower then the market value. I do my best to get the lower payment and the lower residual. Often the sale of the vehicle after the lease is up, nets me enough money to cover almost a year of payments.

Give me an example of what cars you've done that with.
