Diagnostic Software
hey everyone. Im looking to buy one of those OBD2 scanners that are used for diagnostics and stuff like that, but dont really know which would be the best.
I was looking at the obd2allinone module with the PCMSCAN software or the Autotap kit. Does anyone have any experience with these? does any one have any others they would recomend? I need one of these for my other car thats out of warranty, not so much for the H, but would still be usefull. thanks :) |
Re: Diagnostic Software
I've used Autotap and HPTuners (can program PCM too). Both worked fine for me and need a laptop for use.

Re: Diagnostic Software
I use EFI live but can't program the car yet, but makes the truck smoke.

Re: Diagnostic Software
Try one from Actron. I just purchased one recently and it works well. You can get one that will read codes for as little as $58.00 If you want to actually scan all the parameters it will cost more, but still less than you might think. Search Actron on Amazon.com-- Sounds crazy, I know but I found the best prices from them. No, I have no association with either, it's just where I got mine.
