Can't pull the key.
 

Stopped the H1 after lunch today and the key won't shut off all the way and the key won't come out. I can remove the whole cylinder and then pull the key but the ignition mechanism won't turn back all the way. Any suggestions?

Try spraying some WD40 using extension tube or a straw so it gets into right spot. Then jiggle it around until it lets go. After you get key out rotary wirebrush it and file down all external edges.Maybe put a pair of visegrips on it to increase pull but make sure you only pull straight out then to keep from breaking key. good luck the rebel.:crying:

If I pull the cylinder the key comes right out. Trouble is the whole switch will not turn back to the off position.

button on the shift selector knob was stuck. Tore the whole dash apart to find it.

my h1 u just push shifter in to park a few times and the key comes loose.
it has to do with the park doesnt go in far enough.
