'03 OnStar Question
 

Hey all,
I have a question about my On Star.... Well my rig is a '03 H2 with the original OnStar in it. I noticed today that the light on the OnStar unit right next to the call button, which was normally green, was red....
I dont have OnStar nor do I want it, but it is making me wonder.
I mean red is bad and I dont want bad in my truck you know.
So I hit the call but... it worked.
So I hit it again, it stopped.

Any idea why it is red?

Hey I have an 03 also and the on-star radio is no longer supported anyway. If you tried to reactivate it they would tell you that you need a new unit. My light is white though, and no idea why it would be red? Sorry
