Beep with keyless entry

I'm pretty sure my 3 is supposed to beep when it's locked and unlocked with the keyless entry. Right now the corner lights flash and that's it. Does anyone know how to fix this, or do I need to have the dealer reprogram it?

If I rembember right you can program it to do either. I turned my "beep" off the first day. Check the owners manual.

It's definitly in the manual. I did this like 2 months ago. You can turn the beep off, have it beep only when you lock it, or have it beep when you lock and unlock it.
