brianfriend 05-13-2003 04:34 PM

Chris,

You can...just get the sawzall.

Philld, I havn't run a trail yet so I don't know it will do yet. On the highway it is fine but underpowered.

Brian, your rig looks badass!

Do you ever get a top heavy feeling with that rack and tire up on the roof?

brianfriend 05-13-2003 08:49 PM

Mike,

Thanks

I don't know yet. It probably will be a bit. The thing is really tall now and if I had an alternative I would take the tire down. I did go with wider tires and offset rims, that should help the tippieness a bit.

brian:

Your Disco looks mighty fine. With all the custom work - you should submit some photos to a few mags. Heavily modifed Discos are not all that commonplace, so you have a unique rig in your hands.

Thanks for sharing.

Exactly man, I would do that if I was you. Yea I wish I could fit those meats under my 2 in lift, but i don't think its gonna be happening!

Hey guys,

the real brains behind this project is Keith Kreutzer, custom stering componants keith_kreutzer@msn.com

and Dave Lucas at SlickRock Fab
dave_lucas@attbi.com
for all the custom fabrication.

Those two guys are the reason this became possible at all. Just want to give credit where credit is due.

Brian,

After going out with Ho and following him for a couple of days im amazed at how much the body moves on the disco. Ho had all of his sway bars un-hooked or removed and let me tell you the twinkie rocked ALOT. But talk about flex, he earned my respect Good job on the mods, sawzalls save sidewalls!!!

brianfriend 05-22-2003 02:39 PM

"Twinkie"...now thats funny and a very apt description too.
