My New Baby
 

Finally decided to go for the Alpha. It's a Flame Red Pearl open top with black top and matching black interior. According to AM General only 19 like these were made.

I picked it up from Bill Scurry at Lou Sobh Hummer in Atlanta. He was great to work with (my second purchase from Bill), plus he also has a used Alpha wagon available if anyone is interested.

Sorry for the close-up pic, but my garage space is now very tight. I'll have better pictures later in the week.

I'm pretty boring. Picked it up in Atlanta this weekend, drove it back home to TN, and parked it in the garage (after touring the neighborhood, of course ;) ).

This is my 5th consecutive Hummer (2 H2 SUV's, 1 H2 SUT, 1 H1 Wagon, and now 1 H1 Alpha), but I can already tell this one will be my favorite. It's definitely got that WOW factor. :cool: Should have some good stories to tell as well.

I'll get more pics later this week now that the rain has let up.

Also, I'll be posting for sale lots of nice H2 accessories that I've acquired from vehicle to vehicle. I won't be needing them now.

Super sweet! IMO the Alpha is in a class of its own.....it actually has an attractive interior and the sound of the Duramax is music to my ears...Congrats!!!

I love that red color with the black top!!!! Very nice! Congrats! Now get it off-road so you can find out who nice it really is! The alpha crawls like a mountain goat.

You can't tell, but my wife's brand new Audi A6 S-Line is right there beside it. So it's not too lonely. I think she loves her new car as much as I love mine.

Congrats on getting my dream truck!! I want a grey one though.

Bill Scurry is the man! He knows what he sells better than anyone else I have dealt with. Not to mention he knows how to wheel with the best of em. He pulled me out of that deep pit at the Road Atlanta off road course w/ the Black open top alpha.

Ken DO IT! Let me know if you guys are going to come to Atlanta to look at it.
