Blacked Out Hummer!!!

When brand new, this '05 Hummer H2 was purchased by the original GI-Jane! I purchaesd it about a month ago and have added a few personal touches. It has a Rancho 4" lift and 40"x13.50"x20" ProComp Xterrains. What do you guys think?

Great looking truck!! Although not entirely "blacked out" it is a good mix of chrome and black.

nice job. ,,,just the perfect amount of chrome on it.

Your rig looks like the Rancho kit may have some extra added heght to it? Did you have additonal spacers in teh rear and added keys to the front?

That's what I thought too but its just the standard 4" Rancho. I think it's the 40" tires that make the visual difference compared to 37" or 38" which is what most people run with this kit.

I wish they where mounted to the brush guard. Unfortunately the previous owner mounted them to the grill shell. On the skid plate, I taped off the "H2" logo and had the rest powdercoated semi-gloss black. It turned out sweet.

Nice!! Ive seen lots of blacked out H2s but yours was done in extremely great taste, nothing looks tacky or odd on it!

some things I really like about it are the LEDs, still having chrome accents (not overpowering) and I love those rims, they look great with the black insert. What are they?

The wheels are made by "Gear". They are 20"x9" with a 6" backspace. Thanks for all the compliments guys!

Ya the tail lights and side marker covers are off eBay. They were super cheap compared to other sites I saw them on, however the side marker lights didn't fit like I'd hoped they would. The covers wouldn't fit over the stock markers. I ended up having to dismantle (crush with a hammer) the stock side markers and remove the led's. Then I hot glued the led's into the smoked side markers and used 2-sided tape to seal them to the Hummer so no water would get in them. It was a pain in the butt but they turned out sweet and super low profile.
