Anyone buy any? There was a thread here a week or so ago with several people saying Rancho 9000's are the way to go. I visited my local 4x4 shop over the weekend and they said Rancho doesn't yet have a shock for the H3. Anyone heard anything different?

Take a front and rear shock off and measure it.
That's all you need.

Shocks are NOT springs, they are not vehicle specific.

They WILL ride differently, but that's for the user to decide what they like.

Rancho shocks are crap. Don't buy them.

Get Bilstein or Old Man Emu, preferably a remote resevoir model. Failing that, Edelbrock make a good GP shock.

Rancho's are GREAT! I haven't had one bit of trouble with the 9000 series on my last three vehicles. The ride improvement over the stock shocks on my old SUV and SUT are second to none. I do agree the O.M.E shocks are nice as I have them on my lifted WJ.

I think Deutch Tech shocks are better than Ranchos.
I had 3 sets of RS9000s, including the remote air option, on my XJs and thought it was great until I tried Bilsteins and OME.

OME is the best riding shock for the money.
Bilstein Remote Resevoir shocks are the best I've experienced, but at $1000 for 4, they should be
