Should I buy a fifth seat?
 

I have a 2003 Hummer H2 with a rear-mounted spare tire. I am thinking about buying the extra seat. I live in Phoenix.

EBAY has about 28 for sale-both full benches and a single seat.

Will the full bench seat fit? How do peeps who sit there get in and out of the vehicle (isn't the rear seat in the way of the doors?)

Ken,

I believe that the "full" seats for the 3rd row are for the 08-09 models only. The 03-07 models can only hold the one seat on the passenger side.

You'll notice that there are slats on the right side of our models and none on the left at all. In order for the person to get in or out of the 3rd row seat, they must have the right side second row seat stowed in the flat position in order to exit.

Fyr145 said it, full bench is 08 and up only. I'm sure you could make it work if you tried however. I bought my 3rd row seat so more people could ride with me. Until this summer my truck had two car seats so seating was limited. I think since I got it, 1 person has sat in it! :)

There are full bench seats available for 03-07, but they're aftermarket. Some recline...some can be made to lay flat...they're hard to find now-a-days, and usually pricey.
