Tyler,

It?s funny, it doesn?t drive any different, does it? I thought it was going to be harder to drive (wider tires) but even with my defective crappy steering box, it drives the same...

Re: LIFTED HUMMERS THREAD!!

I can't tell any difference from factory on how it drives..haha. Even with 38's. Right now I've got my superchips programmer on the performance tune, so it's running gooood for a 6.2 7,000 lb. cinder block. My speedo is screwed but I can change that later ;) haha

Re: LIFTED HUMMERS THREAD!!

How do you like the super chips programmer? Cant you calibrate the speedo with the new wheels with the programmer? My buddy has been telling me to get a custom tune but I'm kinda leaning towards something like super chips or some other programmer. Any suggestion?

Re: LIFTED HUMMERS THREAD!!

I have the flashpaq and so far it's been great..yes I can recalibrate the speedo but I can't have a performance tune with the tire size change on it :( right now I'm just using the performance tune, which is a nice noticeable difference from stock.

Re: LIFTED HUMMERS THREAD!!

Oh so you can only pick certain things things to use the programmer for? So you can't have the performance tune and tire size change at the same time? Is there a tuner that does everything ?

Re: LIFTED HUMMERS THREAD!!

there probably is..and I can probably do some advanced tune where I change a bunch of things at one time, but for now I'm just using the factory settings on the tuner. It's not bothering me at the moment, and all I really need is the speedo calibration anyways.

I have the Flashpaq and can choose tire size under Performance Tune. You sure you're not missing something?

Reggie,

I thought you bought the Diablo, no? Out of the 5 or so tuners I tried, it was the only one that allowed both gear and tire size changes.

seems like most have the rancho kit . is it worht to buy over the fab 6'

Re: LIFTED HUMMERS THREAD!!

Personally I think a 6 inch lift is too much. The 4 inch lift from Rancho is perfect. Throw on some 38s and you have an inch and a half more than you had stock.
