Gang:

I have been given an opportunity and a couple of days to ponder it, obviously I am offering it to H2 Source Members only:

18" Hot Rod 8 Rims mounted and balanced on BFG Mud Terrain 18" Tires.

Set of four: Price dropped, see below
Set of five: Price dropped, see below

This is lower than my usual cost, but I will have this opportunity only thru the weekend to decide whether or not to jump on it. Anyone have any interest - I will need to do at least 4 sets to get this pricing.

Jason, are you talking about bigger rims and smaller tires so that the over-all diameter remains the same (35inch over-all)? Or are you talking about 37" diameter tires?

Can you clear up the difference in tire sizes?Do I understand correctly that that the stock H2 tires are 35" in dimaeter over-all (rim and tire)? Is the next size-up a 37" over-all tire? Would a stock size rim fit this 37" tire or would a bigger rim be needed?

I am confused about rim Vs. tire sizes and wheather a bigger size overall tire will rub and wheather I need a programer after I change wheels.

I want after-market wheel and tires but am not sure what will fit and how they will affect performance.

Does a programer do the same thing as sending in one's computer for "reflashing"?

Once I figure out my questions, I will be ordering new wheels, tires and installing a 4" lift. After that a supercharge is next and all of these mods will depend on the wheel and tire changes. Jason, point me in the right direction.

Daddy, the tires in the package are the same outside diameter, 35", as stock.
U can put 37" tires on stock rims since most are the same width, now if u go a W I D E tire u may need a wider set of rims.
The hole in the center of the tire is 1" bigger than stock so the sidewalls are a 1/2" shorter.
These tires shouldn't effect performance.
Some companies make 36" high tires so u don't have to go to 37" and since u want new wheels to the rim size won't matter as long as u go 16" or larger.
I tried a set of Super Swamper 12.5x36-16.5 on mine and they cleared fine, really cool looking on the H2 but don't think they will do good on packed snow .
W/ the future 4" lift u will want something in a 37 or 38" tire to look right after the lift or u will see small tires and big fender wells.

Daddy,

Looks like Tim beat me to the punch, he is absolutely correct on the tire specifics.

Reflashing and Reprogramming are interchangable, yes.

Thanks for the info D-Tim and Jason. Winter in Minnesota is right around the corner and I have been reading that the stock tires are good in snow and that the MT's aren't. I think I will wait untill next summer to do some more mods.

I have also been reading about tie rods bending and breaking on lifted H2's. I am going to wait until the jury is in on the lifting issue.
