Regrets
I sold the 06 le and bought a lifted on 35s escalade with a 6.2l. While I love the 6.2l I fng hate the awd sucks. Its a fat joke. Everything about the vehicle is awesome but the awd makes me angry. Angrier than watching the cowboys get their pants pulled down and their butts turned red by the bears. Aaaaaaaaargh! Anyway, gotta go back to an h2. I love the 06 h2 4wd system. Hate the 6.0l power. Is the 08/09 4wd system similar to the 06? I am goin back to an h2 asap. Roushdemon, Andres I need another demonguard.

Re: Regrets
I went from a 2005 6.0l to a 2008 6.2l h2 and extremely happy I did. The 6.2l with the six speed transmission really helped out the h2. The 4wheel drive system seems to be the same. I also own a 2008 escalade and know what you mean.

Re: Regrets
My 05 is for sale. It's the 6.0, but thought I'd throw a shameless plug out anyway... Only 50K miles.

If it was a converted diesel or 6.2 id be interested. Left an h2 because limited power and towing sucked. Plus I have 5 kids that started hockey. No room. The escalade was perfect and bad to the bone. The problem is it sucked at the deer lease. I did not buy it cause of the cadillac emblem. Brand means crap to me. I want performance and features. I guess ill have to put on a gobi for the hockey gear. |
Re: Regrets
This is odd because the H2's are AWD too. It's a 40% front and 60% rear torque when in AWD and 50/50 when locked in 4WD. I'm not sure on the Caddy so maybe it's a different percentage??

Re: Regrets
Its really a traction control with no lockers. To get it engaged you have to give it gas. That's fine in the mud but contraindicated on ice. Its just stupid.
