External wiring question for driving lights

Ok, I will post pics but I finished the job last night around 1am. I'm certainly not an electrician but the instructions seemed very easy so I decided to do this myself. I wired up my PIAA 520 driving lights to my brushguard. Got everything wired up and operational! I used the pre-existing wires through the firewall to hook up the switch.

My question is, the connections that plug into the lights certainly don't look waterproof. What has everyone else used to seal up these connections?

I use KCs, and I just coated the pins with some dielectric grease, and wrapped with good old electrical tape.
I did this for the four lights I had on the Wrangler, and two years later there were no problems.

I have the 520s and the driving lights on my Ford Explorer with nothing extra. Three years with no problems but heck a little extra like f5fstop suggests couldn't hurt.
