I am thinking of getting the roof off road lights but am wondering about a couple of issues:
- Are the roof off road lights having similar wind noise issues to the marker lights when installed? - Are they bright enough to be worth it? - Can the bulbs be chaged to a brighter bulb? Any insight would be very helpful for my decision making. Thanks. |

How many people actually have the roof mounted off road lights?

Re: Marker Lights vs Roof Off Road Lights
Hello There - I have given marker lights vs. off-road lights careful thought. First of all, I have not heard anyone complain of wind noise with the off-road lights. Second, the H2 does not offer this off-road light version, so it makes the H3 unique. I am choosing the off-road lights for my H3. The best value I have found is on Ebay when you search "H3 Roof lights" and ChevyChase Hummer offers them for $360 + shipping (cheap), so I am going that route. Good Luck!

Went with standard mini quartz lamps 12volt by 55 to 100 watts lamps available anywhere wired and tapped off radio shack switches run off battery up A pillar to ground thru switch. Cheap and working no problems... Just like any other 12 volt light application on any vehicle. However if you must get fancy there is some packaged... |
