Need technical manual description or good experience

I was riding in my friends H3 and i was adjusting the air vent and it broke after the 3rd time doing it, I feel kinda responsible even though it was gonna happen if it was that weak.

Anyhoo I ordered a new part to replace it with

25816720
GRILLE
(gmpartsdirect)

(dunno why it says grille, picture and writing shows it as air vent)

And I would like to know how to remove the passenger side air vent closest to the window in order to replace it.

p.s. does the H3's sunroof not have a drain on the passenger front corner?

small flat blade screwdriver pry into center oof vent and it should release. Sunroof drains on both sides

Thanks Hum, and I swear to you their is no drain on the passenger front side, or if it is it's hidin, the only thing in the front passenger corner of the sunroof gutter is a molded plastic line made into the gutter, their is no hole, So I don't know what to think, I'll take another look next time i see it.

Anyways, thanks for the vent description

A drain trough encircles the sunroof window panel and water is drained off by the drain hoses located at each corner of the housing. A drain channel spans across the sunroof module at the rear of the window panel and directs water into the trough.
  1. The front drain hoses are routed down the windshield pillars and out the center of the pillar between the door hinges. The front hoses are installed in a rubber grommet and retained by clips.
  2. The rear drain hoses are routed through the rear pillars and out of the rocker panel. In some vehicle the drain hoses are routed out through the metal roof slots and routed to the lower wheelhouse to drain out of the vehicle. The rear hoses are installed in a rubber grommet and retained by clips.
