I have researched local goverment websites too find legal places to off road. I found this website and thought people in VA may be interested in it

http://www.southernregion.fs.fed.us/gwj/ohvtrails.htm

I have not joined a hummer club yet so my only resource is the net. Hope this helps thoes of you in VA.
