Not sure if any of you have come across these yet, but I was sifting through ebay **** and came across these. If they're actually quality carbon fiber and really bolt on to replace the existing fenders, might save someone a few pounds, maybe a .01 increase in gas milage?

Well, if they are in fact true carbon fiber then that means they probably weigh a few pounds at most. Why is he charging $80 for shipping? Is he going to hand deliver them himself?

I don't know, at 200 for the pair...they can't be very good. I know carbon fiber has become a huge hit over the past few years, especially in the auto world. However true good quality carbon fiber is only manufactured in a handful of places around the world.
I've seen my fair share of carbon fiber this and that, but nothing compares to the carbon fiber frames on a few of my indoor kites.

For what he's charging on shipping.. must be heavy.. then it looks to be a stock fender with carbon fiber vinyl sticker.

Thats really kinda what i was figuring...a stock fender with a cheap carbon fiber stick on covering
