twenty2 03-16-2006 04:35 PM

since you blacked everything out.. almost.... you need to tint your windows and get a bleck chrome gas door...

DDWH 03-16-2006 04:37 PM

Looks great FJ....now just do the gas cap and door handles!

CO Hummer 03-16-2006 04:49 PM

Looks great Jay!

LMAO at the custom bling chrome fuel door. That was the first thing I noticed to.

Thanks for postin the pics fireman, i like it! what size rim and tire you got on there? and i agree with twenty2 and ddwh that you need a black fuel door next. also, i put a black and orange IAFF sticker on the back of mine, i think it looks pretty good. i'll try and get some pics of it. it doesn't contrast the vehicle so much.

Wouldve looked sweet at Tellico--perhaps next time.

FiremanJay 03-16-2006 05:42 PM

i,m still tryin to figur out how to remove the fuel door it was on the beast when i got it as for the door handles they will be done soon enough.

FiremanJay 03-16-2006 05:44 PM

i think the fuel door is held on by double sided tape not sure though.
but it does stick out bad

FiremanJay 03-16-2006 05:46 PM

Boss the doc didnt want the future wife going to tellico due to her knee and she had to have an mri as well as xrays, they are going to scope it soon. and me being the loving fiance i am (LOL) i stayed with her this weekend for morale support.

FiremanJay 03-16-2006 05:53 PM

saleen they are stock tires and the rims are these.
http://www.wheelsforless.com/search_...duct_ID=398178
they are the ones at the bottom of the page and the price is better now than when i bought them
my cost was 975.00 delivered. it was a good company to deal with when they arrived they were 1 set of lug nuts short and 3 of the 4 center caps were broken due to shipping they sent a RMA (return merchandise authorization) call tag with the new caps and a whole set of lug nuts for all 4 wheels. cant say enough good things about there customer service.

That one is screwed into your filler neck bezel on the truck. open the fuel door, unscrew your gas cap. You'll see two bolts in there. remove those and than turn counter the whole assembly clockwise while pulling out away from the truck. the body is slotted, so the filler neck bezel just has to get past those tabs and will fall out easily once turned. It may be tough to turn, but it will come loose. So you'll end of having the whole filler neck bezel and fuel door in one piece. look at the back side of the fuel door and you'll see some screws that trap the door onto the bezel. Remove those and install your black fuel door.

If this doesn't sound easy, just send me a PM, and I can fax you some dirrections.
