The instructions say to install it after the MAF sensor and ahead of the accordian plastic intake hose. The problem is when I do this, and re-assemble, the maf housing which slips into the accordian intake hose, ends up pushing the tornado into the accordian hose too deep where is no longer fits snugly and the tornado turns on its axis.
I was thinking of installing the tornado between the accordian instake hose and the plastic intake duct, but couldn't figure out how to seperate the accordian intake hose from the housing (is it glued on?). thanks in advance, Jon |

yes it is glued but you should be able to insert a thin bladed screwdriver and gently seperate the accordian from the plastic. just take you're time.

Do you still have the box? Just thinking that maybe you could find something comparable to "dump" into the box to return to them.

I don't know...
I have had some good luck with mine! I went from around 9.5mpg to 11.5mpg with my tornado. It must be the operator ![]() |
The question here is why you were only getting 9.5mpg to begin with unless you were towing and driving into a head wind. Did you unhook the trailer when you did the installation?
