Need help finding this motor:
Little Tykes H2 Adventure series

It is out of this Hummer.

I must get it fixed soon the owner is very upset with me.

I called Little Tykes; they will not sell parts to the public.

Called the authorized service center 40 miles one way, (thats $5.00 in gas ). There screwing around, have not even tried to get the motor, or a price. Waited 2 days now.

H.C. I didn't realize your H2 had a 3ft lift on it. Have you posted pics of your rig before?

Have you thought about fixing the one you have? There must be a motor shop in the area. Do you know whats wrong ie: brush, armmature, bushing???

Probably bushings, gets hot and stops after about 2 mins. I didn't think a shop would waste time on such a small motor.

Yes I have posted a pic of my truck every chance I get. I'm real proud of the beast.

Have you tried the local hobby store? They will usually have someone, or know of someone that may be able to fix it. I'm thinking like the places that sell R/C airplanes. If they don't have a fix, they may, or probably will have a motor that'll perform better

Might even try an alternator shop. they can sometimes help out or know of someone.

Ok, I looked around real quick to see who made the Hummer for little tikes but to no avail.

I then decided to look up the motor and kept getting all of this R/C crap. Well, it appears that motor is the same that is used in R/C trucks and cars like the traxxus or whatever. Also the 550 number appears to be related to the power of the motor. A little later I'll try to see if there are any distributors but I bet your local hobby store has the exact replacement you need.

Just check the dimensions from Mabuchi and make sure that whatever you purchase matches the dimensions and specs. It seems as if Mabuchi supplies to everywhere outside of the us. Johnson motors makes motors for the same type of applications (cordless drills etc...) They should fit/match perfectly... Have fun!

KeyTronics in Mexico makes the Hummer H2 for Little Tikes.

We sold them a used 3000 ton HPM injection molding machine to make them.

Aaawwwee comon', it's not crap! My boy loves our electric airplane! Aristo-craft trains uses a 550 motor in some of their large model train applications also....

Didn't mean it like that. I just wasn't expecting the motors to be the same. I was thinking there was no way a little R/C motor was the same motor used in these little tikes hummers.
