Just got back from a weekend long scouting trip, getting ready for our dealership's happening next weekend. we sepnt two days, had some hairy experiences, and got one truck stuck in the snow/mud, and snapped a winch cable trying to get it out. Every time i go on one of these trips, i fall more and more in love with these rigs. next weekend we are taking 20 or so trucks up there, so it should be a good time. most people dont realize the advanced effort tat goes into putting these events together. did i miss anything good when i was gone?

Why are there no pics with this thread Mr. Supersalesman? Make sure you take some of the HH.

A steel cable? That's why I ONLY use synthetic.

ken, didnt want to embarass myself with camera phone pics, but there definately will be a bunch of the HH. DRTY the cable was steel, but thank gid we always wrap a tow strap or winch bag around it so when it snaps it doesnt recoil. i have never seen one snap. this weekend was a good tihng, bc we were able to get this bad stuff out of the way before mr. and mrs. havacam come . the scary part of the weekend is when our lead rig was backing down a muddy trail. and the ass end started sliding, and he ended up getting held up by a sage or some tyoe of bush, and we couldnt get the sedond rig in position to tow him out, so i had to chop a tree while waiting to see if the rig eould maintian its balancing act on the edge of the trail. thankfully we got the second rig in position after the tree was down. the amazing part is dealer only has 2 used H2, and they only wanted to let us take one, and I wasnt about to destryoy my rig for them, if i was going for fun i would have taken mine, but no way for them, so if it were up to them we would have only had 1 rig, but thankfully we talked them into giving us the second. we would have been in big trouble w/o a second truck. the funny part is one of the 2 trucks we took was my old rig, which i must say after spending two days in, i really miss
