User manual says it's there on the driver's side, but I can't seem to find it. Anyone have this?

Was wondering about that myself too. I don't have it either. What would it be 4? In case you wouldn't want the hood 2 be tilted or opened all the way? But when?

I wasn't aware of hood prop rod (and haven't looked). But here's a possible reason: most front mounted winches will prevent full hood opening.
