Here's my situation I have an H4 bi-xenon kit from my old vehicross sitting around collecting dust. Should I sell it and go with bi-xenon projector set up, or find 7" round light housing that excepts an H4 bulb set up(like the SMA and Delta HID set-ups), or do I use my exsisting OEM 9007 housing and modify the H4 capsule base. Finally what company makesthe best 7" H4 housing. Help me please.

Here is 2 places that sells the HID that fit our H2's.
The first site I think has a better looking set but is more expensive about $450 for the set. http://www.predatormotorsports.com/i...ROD&ProdID=259 http://www.xesighting.com/products.asp?nav=1&cat=1 Sorry for confusion. They are not selling it for $450 for a pair. I meant the 1st site sells their HID Lights for about $450 more than the second website. |
How much would you sell it for? My brother has a VX...
|
I am not selling it. Just letting you know the 2 kits that we can use. Someday soon I will get one of these lights.

Try this site.

Question was addressed to I-Man. He has a Vehicross HID kit (VX is the common designation for Isuzu Vehicross owners) and my brother owns a VX.

Yes,
KenP is right. That site has one also I just didn't notice it before. We should try to support it as much as possible. Beastmaster : sorry about the misunderstanding |
I have the Hella Bi-xenons

I wonder what difference is between HID reflector type or projector type. I know projector produce a flat beam with a clean cut off. Reflectors seem to spread the out the light more covering a greater area. Most off road racing truck have the reflector set up. I'm thinking projectors are best for the road.

I have the Xenarc HIDs in my H2 but have had HID retrofits in my Denali. The Denali has a standard projector setup of for the low beam and I put the retro HID bulbs in place of the stock bulbs.
Biggest difference from an observational standpoint is that the projector setup has no hot spots. The light is smooth and even where the Xenarc HIDs have bright and dim spots in comparison. |
Here is the cut-off from my Hella Projector Bi-xenons
Low Beam: High Beam: |
i got the slyvania xenaric hid's i would sugest them.. they are great and super strong against impact.. sly all the way

We use a Philips HID kit with the stock reflector housings, and it is a huge improvement over stock. We sell them for $494 delivered ~ www.autotriks.com .

<span class="ev_code_BLUE"> I have the Delta-Tech H.I.D.’s. http://www.h2source.com/del-hid.htm I have had them for about a year. I use them in the snow almost weekly. I am very satisfied with them. The installation was a little more involved than plug’n’play, but at the time, they were the only 7 inchers available that were H.I.D. using both Hi and Lo beams (possibly still true, call any potential manufacturer to make sure). I just had a bulb go on me. The manufacturer replaced it free of charge. </span>

Has any one ordered form any of these companies listed and received their product?
