I know this may have been covered already. But I noticed that the front passenger side tire rubs on the sway bar when making a left U-turn. Marks on both the tire and swaybar. Is there a solution for this.
thanks,
troy

Had same problem.
Add this to annoying-H2-things-thread...
Mechanic adjusted sway bar bolts/brackets.

Normal as it happens to most H2's. I have a 03 Denali that also rubs, this is also normal for this truck but it still should not happen. The problem is with the design it’s inherent in this vehicle. GM most likely knows it but why waist money to fix a problem when only .001% of owners are complaining. It bugs me too but I don't see it getting fixed real soon. BIG-C

Removing and replacing the sway bars will not change the alignment. I performed them a couple years ago as a fleet mechanic. BIG-C

WITH STOCK WHEELS THE FRONT TIRES WILL RUB WHEN TURNING. I TOOK CARE OF THIS PROBLEM BY GETTING RID OF STOCK WHEELS AND PUTTING ON NEW WHEELS WITH DIFFERENT OFFSET, NOW EVEN WITH 37IN TIRES I HAVE LOTS OF ROOM WHEN TURNING WITH NO CHANCE OF RUBBING.

PhilD, The wheels I went with are pro comp
exterrain, 17in/10in, I had these wheels powder coated black. You would have plenty of room with
13.50in tires because my 12.5in tires have over 4inches of clearance when tires are turned in all the way. good luck.

Hi ANGELO D

Do you have any pictures of your rim and tire setup to share

Not sure why but my 37" MTR's do not rub at all.

4 1/4 inch backspacing is the magic number for the aftermarket wheels. Running 37x13.5 M/T Baja Claws and they never rub. Never.

Hey Dan

I like your tires - I am not an expert on tires/rims - a few quick questions:

Do they fit on stock rims?
Do you have to change any thing (speed setting-H2 clearance)?
What are Spacers and how do theyapply to your setup?

Thanks
