'03 H2. Changer finished a disc and moved to the next one and then said "Initializing".....for several minutes. Then went dead. Same thing this morning. I know some others had this same problem in the past but anyone have any new info on a fix or is it just replace the radio time?

Same thing happened to me 3 weeks ago; my truck would not move forward and will not give me back the key, it was towed to the dealer and they replaced the ignition switch. When I got the truck back from them the next day it was working fine but the CD player (in dash 6) would not play, full with 6 cds will tell me that there were no cds and sudenly it appears the INITIALIZING memo on the lcd, is there for ever and nothing happen, I have an appoinment at the dealer tomorrow to check it out. I will let you know what happen.

Get ready for a wait. I took mine in and they said there's a 4 week back order. Didn't matter because I upgraded to the Touch Nav and XM but I'd haved been upset if I would have had to wait 4 weeks for replacement.

The dealer is going to replace the unit and as you mention las vegas it will take 2 to 4 weeks to get one in and then an extra 3 weeks to get my CDs out of the old unit I will keep you posted to see if it works out.
