My Instrument panel say right rear door open!!!
Happens every time I put it in drive.

PROBLEM IS THE AIR SYSTEM WON'T OPERATE WITH THE DOOR OPEN AND THE BACK END OF THE TRUCK IS SAGGING SIGNIFICANTLY. Dealer can't look at it until Tuesday.

Is there any way to bypass that one door and get the system to air up???

This is a joke isn't it. Or are you a troll that keeps posting week after week of the dealer's lack of correct handling?

I have no idea where the switch is on the door, but maybe you can "manually", as in some tape or something, have the switch held back. If not, you need to check if the switch is an always open or always closed type and maybe you can put a jumper wire on the back of the switch.

If no one else knows or posts anything, I'll check tomorrow before I head to the ranch and see what might can be done.

No joke. Simple problem just poor timing, holiday weekend and all.
Don't get me wrong I LOVE my H2, I have owned many cars and trucks, also broke quit a few. the only vehicle I have owned that had fewer problems than my H2 was my 2000 4 runner.I like to push them to there limits and sometimes a little beyond.

Just looking for a way to get around the door ajar message and air up the rear suspension. Until the dealership can repair it. They said bring it in and they would give me a loaner. But as I said I love to drive the Hummer.

I can tell you exactly what it is, the BCM (Body Control Module). Mine did the same thing, kept saying "Right Rear Door Ajar". I had it in twice before they figured it out.

The switch is part of the lock asm,but Ed
is right. by passing the switch will not over-
ride the BCM to air up the rear.
You need a new BCM.Where do you live?

A service tech would be able to determine where the problem is very quickly but the problem can be in a few places up and down the line. If is indeed the switch you can manually jump the switch and get the air bags up.

Ed might be correct as the BCM. If you can get to the connector, you can ground the proper indicator wire and see if it shuts off the door ajar signal.

This is from the Service Manual.

For clarification;

if its the switch I should be able to connect pin 1 and pin 3, to close the circuit and get the air bag to operate???
