o.k i have new questions about putting in a 4 inch lift what kind is best for ride , no cutting , just bolton , and a price ?? also what are the hieght to the bottom of your rear bumper and to the top without and with racks and what size tire 37 or 38's seeing as 37's fit stock i would think that they would look dumb with a 4 inch lift but maybe not , i ask all these questions because i would like it to fit in my garage and there is a statepatrol ( BIG F'IN PRICK )around where i live that nailed me 3 times for my 3/4 hd gmc with a 6 inch lift in it , so need to know this before doing these type of project so i dont get any more tickets

4" and 37's on the hummer are like a 6" for trucks

timgco 03-01-2005 02:10 AM

4" Rancho Kit. SOCRATES has a sweet ride. Perfect color too.

I have the Rancho Lift with 37" MTRs. To the top of the rack, the H2 is approximately 7'4" high.

superbeast 03-01-2005 04:24 PM

7'4 is it a little less a a little more ? thats the size of my garage door room is 7'4 , what is the measurement to the lowest part of your rear bumper on level ground of course and do you have a pic of that ??

thanks for info. so far

superbeast 03-06-2005 05:50 PM

JamesT 03-06-2005 06:54 PM

7'4" from grount to top of roof cross bar.
6" Fabtech lift with 38's

superbeast 03-06-2005 09:55 PM

now i have 2 different measurements 1 with a 4 inch with 37's at 7-4 and another with a 6 inch and 38's at the same how is that ???

Hey superbeast, what state are you from?

i live in minnesota , i know the legal limits , i just need to know also for fitting in garage and to the bottom of the rear bumper so if i do some lift and tires i know what i can get away with from others doing it

drmiles 03-07-2005 01:24 PM

Mine, with skyjacker lift and 38 tires sits @ 7'3"(however could fit in parking garage that said 7'3" limit with about an inch to spare). That is to the top of the roof racks.
I'll have to go and measure the rear bumper. I just added the Gobi stealth rack and it's a little higher haven't measured the new height yet, will do so this pm..

drmiles 03-07-2005 01:25 PM

Also the amount of torsion bar tension can explain the height differences. Most of the Rancho lifts I have seen have the torsion bars near max.
