hi all...

my driver's side sidestep is annoying the hell out of me...it lets out a groaning creak whenever i step on it (and I'm not that heavy!!)

it's ONLY the step part under drvers door...

it's loose enoough that it's scraping the tube underneath which is starting to rust!

can i tighten the step or do i need to replace the whole tube?

here is the only pic where it is visible..

THANKS!

I don't know what to tell you about the step but wow, if you ever want to sell that baby, I'm a buyer. That kid looks just like mine did at that age!

If it's still under warranty take it in to the delear and have it fixed, including having the rusted part replaced or fixed. If its out of warranty, remove the step, sand down the rusted area, paint with rustolem or the like and then reinstall the step.
