so i'm thinking of getting side steps. The wife kinda has difficulties getting in and out of the H3. I was thinking of the regular tubular side steps but i've seen somewhere where they offer power steps?
Are these worth the money? I think its cool that it tucks in when the doors are closed and come down when you open the door. Do they make them for our H3's? thanks! |

try this link...
http://www.autoanything.com/products/product_gnn.aspx?p...diak_sidewinder_step saw another fold down step browsing the other day that runs the entire length of the vehicle, but can't seem to relocate that link. |
perfect... what i ve been looking for...
can these fit in the H3? also would like to see the entire length version as well. If you ever find the link... cheers, |
They are advertised to... if you go up one directory in the URL there is a whole ton of H3 stuff there. I'll look around for that other link.

Actually found the link. I don't know if this will work with an H3, you'll have to call their customer service number and find out. As long as its not too long I don't see why these wouldn't work. Might take some work though.

Even if those would work, you wouldn't want to have to take them off when you go off-roading.
|
yeah... once their on, there is no taking them off.

I'll sell you you my black tube steps I took off. They're like new. $200 or less. I'm in CA

Side steps work well for short people getting in and out. My wife is 5'2" and I am 5'9" and we use the steps all the time. I have the OEM chrome side steps. Since I use my H3 only for light offroading and for trips in the snow to ski, the steps are not a problem. But as noted by others, the steps should be removed for serious offroading.

i dont think i'll be doing "serious" off-roading. Mild to say the least.
I need the side steps not for me but for my wife. she's 4'11. I was thinking of the power ones for the cool factor! |
I'm not related to hmrlvr or anything, but his offer of black tube steps for $200 is pretty good. If you want to see what your truck might look like with them, check out:
