It will never happen IMO. 2011 might as well be 2510. Also it's safe to say that none (no make that most) of us will not have our current H2's by 2011 so it really doesn't matter.

Perhaps this decision and the auto makers knowledge that they will never be able to comply will indeed push the development of bio-diesel or some other form of diesel.
