Hey check out this Cabelas site. It has a cool Flat water tank and Flat Fuel Tank!
Flat Tanks!
They look like they would fit very nicely on the Gobi rack without taking up much space! You can even stack a bunch of stuff on top of it!

See what y'all think!

at 3.2gal each you'll need to stack a bunch

CO Hummer 02-14-2006 05:35 AM

Of course, nobody actually uses the spare fuel tanks. So looks are of most importance.

Fubar 02-14-2006 05:44 AM

thanks for clearing that up

shipbldr 02-14-2006 10:24 AM

Great. More crap I can stick on my Gobi rack...

MarineHawk 02-14-2006 10:33 AM

I like them. I guess you could also stack some in a plastic tub in the back.

I'm thinking it woul fit in the cooler nicely- maybe fill it with water or some margarita type of bev-er-age.

This is what you need on a Gobi for plenty of extra fuel.

MoellerŪ Portable Fuel Tanks

Fubar 02-14-2006 02:14 PM

now that's more like it

12 gallons should be more than enough to you out of just about anywhere and back to civilization.

All you really need to do is make sure you go wheeling with Adam. He carries 80-90 gallons everywhere he goes.

Fubar 02-14-2006 02:34 PM

no disrespect to Adam but he wasn't with us much (with his H2) last trip now was he
