Hey look, there's pics in this thread.

Looks good. That nav unit fits the console nicely. Nice to see the non-driveway pics too.

Very slick, nice install

Where did you get the factory Nav unit? Does it still work or did it lock on you? If it did, just take it to the dealer and they can unlock it.

i think you're better of with an aftermarket one. just because i think price wise you will get a better deal.

Also, with aftermarket you can integrate lots of stuff like backup camera, ipod, etc.

my two cents.

Digital-Audiophile 04-14-2006 02:16 PM

Looks slick! I wonder about the price too. I am using a Tom Tom go700 for navigation right now and like up, but kind of wish I had an intigrated system so I didnt have to pull off and hide the tomtom when I park my h3.

crotch_rocket_pilot 04-16-2006 12:28 AM

So what is the best navigation system out there for the H3 aftermarket wise?

Steve - SanJose 04-16-2006 04:55 AM

Very nice, but I'm afraid to ask the price.

The factory nav unit is comparable priced to what the factory option would have cost. With this plug and play, all options work, no problems with On Star or XM radio and I was able to purchase a seperate adapter at Radio Shack so that my back up camera can be viewed through the nav radio. Piece of mind and having everything work is worth a few extra bucks and it looks like it came from the factory!!!!

I agree about the advantages of the OEM Nav setup. I've already got the Hitchcam installed. How much for the H3 Nav upgrade shown?
