Well, Jody went to the gym (with my car) and some little teenage fu@#ers broke into the Hummer (and 6 other cars in the parking lot) and do you know what they got.....a dc power inverter($25) and an air pressure gauge($5) JFC you can't have anything nice........The police got a good description of the two punks, not that it matters now, even if they catch them it won't fix anyone's windows and from overhearing the police talking they were probably minors and will get a slap on the wrist..... It is just a window and its not like Jody got car jacked or hurt but it makes me soooo mad and makes you feel so vulnerable and there is not a damn thing you can do about it.....Crappy pic doesn't show where they pryed and the glass shards stuck in the window track

Where did it happen? Is it within my realm?

MikeXML320 01-31-2006 04:12 AM

It happened at the Jim parsley center less than a mile from our place in Vancouver. About 6 blocks from the Vancouver police station's Central Precinct. I do not like living in Vancouver (although it could have happened anywhere) but we rented this place before we moved here(from Denver) and are looking at buying a house on the Oregon side, so we decided to stay here until we find something we want to buy. What part of town do you live in? Is it safe? Should I start looking for a house near you? I just got off the phone with safelite and they said 260.00 to fix....not too bad I thought it would be alot more...
