Absolutely nothing new. This battle keeps raging. I have my opinions...and I probably should just keep those to myself.

I don't see anything wrong with these shirts.

ShaggyX 04-04-2006 06:12 PM

I have a major problem with the Confederate Flag. I don't really know why...but it really bugs me for some reason.

Ipedog 04-04-2006 06:12 PM

I've seen shirts that were a hell of a lot worse

Same old, same old

I support her in wearing the shirts.
Anyone that feels offended by the confederate flag, does not understand the true history of it!
Plus I can take out a confederate flag wearing redneck just as easy as a Texas flag wearing redneck!

Democrats call it "racially" offensive.
Republicans call it our "right to heritage" and "preservation of ones history".

Democrats tell us its "offensive".
Republicans tell us "freedom of speech".

Republicans tell the Democrats to SHADUP!
Democrats start crying and claiming we need to "pratice tolerance" of thier crying and moaning.

The conferderate flag represented many states in the south during our civil war and division. If it means to you something else - thats your personal fukin problem and not mine to deal with.

the fact that it's red, white and blue?

Scouts Out 04-05-2006 01:15 PM

If anybody were to actually look, the stars and bars is really the flag of the army of northern Virginia. The original flag of the confederacy was a blue flag with one star on it which was called Bonnie Blue. It was not until late in the war the stars and bars was elevated to the flag of the confederacy.

Rebel With A Clue

Scouts Out 04-06-2006 12:06 AM

I bow to you Rebel wisdom, I knew the Bonnie Blue was in there somewhere but I thought it stck around allot longer than that said. I learned my Southern history from a bunch of Georgia-ites and they were not sure the war was even over
