The FIND button is your friend...but w/ that being said, the consensus around here seems to be the Fabtech.

HGW 02-15-2006 08:45 PM

Where are you located?---we do them all the time.

You are a nutjob! You've just pissed on two of the best people in the business!

HGW is well known on this forum for doing great work. He's worked on my truck and several others here. The work was surgical, flawless, and showed insight far beyond following the directions.

PHILD supplies great equipment, ships things promptly, and often knows more about the products he sells then many manufacturers reps I have talked to. I bought my recovery gear from him. Though I've used my gear a lot (see funlands thread) it still as good as the day I bought it. I've never seen him to be anything other than frank about what's available.

To infer that there is something wrong with HGW and PHILD because the responded to a direct inquiry for a suggestion is a wrong and very personal insult. It insinuates that because they stepped forward that there must be something wrong with their motives. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Over the long haul people are only successful in business when they do great things for other people. These two meet this measure.

I would trust their advice for two reasons:

1. They both have massive experience hard won from years of installations and actual use of the products.
2. They both have a lot to loose by going out on a limb, in public, and commenting.

Take a deep breath, relax, double-check your facts, and give folks a chance. You might be suprised.

Enough said.

Thanks Shipbldr

H2GO--I would eat sh*t before I ever worked on your Hummer. How's that for product pedaling?

Ray Everham, NASCAR car owner; and Jeff Hammond, Fox & Speed reporter and ex crew chief for D. Waldrup; have both seen my work up front and personal---one saw the Black, the other saw the Yellow. There can be no bigger critics than these guys, especially Jeff Hammond who lifts his own vehicles for his son.

Learn this forum before you speak like that.

I have provided advice on here about things you do not even know exist.

Gee...I am sorry to the others on here. I must have been on here too many months to start ragging on a jerk. I usually let it go.

I'm not about to get coerced down some Trail by these lowlife racketeers. I for one think this blatant product peddling has got to stop! We have a Duty to stand up to these rapscallions.

NewHummerGuy 02-16-2006 10:34 PM

WOW....Longhorn, after reading your post, I have a strange urge to order something from Trail Duty. Not sure why

and give em hell HGW. your trucks are awesome. Quick question, are there any other locations to see your trucks and work done on them??? I love reading stuff like that. Thanks in advance.

Really the BEST way to see the trucks at www.hummersgonewild.com is to go to www.hummersgonewild.com and have them install a www.hummersgonwild.com lift kit or a www.hummersgonewild.com supercharger or some www.hummersgonewild.com bling.

Did I mention the www.hummersgonwild.com girls?

shipbldr 02-16-2006 10:39 PM

All kidding aside, I did see the the HGW truck while I was there getting my supercharger and winch installed.

I got a chance to walk around the truck, look under it, and in it.

It looks great in pictures but even better in person.

NewHummerGuy 02-16-2006 10:51 PM

Thanks ship. I think i will check out Hummersgonewild.com

I have been to the site several times but was checking if there were any other sites or just photos which have been taken.
