Impulse shopping at Sam's Club is fun!

I see it "folds to drop from military aircraft".

h2co-pilot 11-06-2005 11:40 AM

You should have someone drop it from your roof to make it authentic.

I hope it is just folded and you don't have to assemble it.

I hope you're not a big guy, it must a 18" frame...

BumM3r 11-06-2005 04:56 PM

It's a 20" and it took a whole 5 mins to assemble.

So, have you tried the airdrop with it yet?

Sams on line also has a new H3 Electric Golf Cart...pretty cool...and pretty expensive.

BumM3r, do you have any photos of the back of your SUT without the tire. Just wanna see what it looks like.

Thanks,

I think retail on these are like over a grand, right? Anyone here knows more about mountain bikes care to comment on this bike? I mean for $400, is this a good bike?

RiverRacerX 11-08-2005 06:38 PM

Looks killer! *drools all over self*

Looks just like that, 'cept I went ahead and bought the Tire Eliminator kit which you can see a pic of in the Elcova accessories page.

So far the bike is great! It is light, yet solidly built. Spring fork works great on the trails. Shimano components throughout. When done you can fold it easily and load it in the bed unseen.
There's a seller on ebay selling this bike for ~430ish w/ shipping ~50ish . Can't go wrong with the Sam's Club seasonal special.

And I'm going to miss the nice mellow campfires. Wheeling for the day will have to suffice.

Costco is better than Sams IMO
