Seeking to drive home a sense of urgency, York called on GM to offer fewer and better products and to consider getting rid of brands such as Hummer -- its line of huge and especially fuel-thirsty sport utility vehicles -- and Saab, the Swedish nameplate that he called a "pretty consistent money loser."

It's all just inflated BS. Hummer is not costing GM any money and is, in fact, making them money and has so much room to grow.

Dude is econo box thinking or playing to the activists.

GMT900 H2 is going to happen. The pickup is coming. Hummer has so many market areas to expand into and still be the premier off-roader.

With a 94% increase in sales this year due to the H3, a big H3 intro coming mid year this year, the Hummer pickup. Nobody in their right mind would cut that good arm off.

What's publicy said in Detroit just about is the opposite of what someone actually thinks these days.
