I just swapped my single tier for the double tier wraparound super duper whatever you call it grilleguard (not the newer SMA Heavy Duty, but the original double). In has a couple of hook shaped appendages, which enter the 2 outer slots of the main grille. I see where the fixing bolts and probably some spacer bushings should go, but the factory bolts look too short. I assume bushings are needed because I wouldn't think these arms are designed to be pushed over, but I don't really know.

If you know the sizes (diameters, thread pitches, bolt lengths, bushing sizes, etc.) please let me know. Parts guy? Klaus?

Otherwise, if there is some vital piece of info on this I am missing, please let me know. Heck, if you know anything about this, you know more than I do.

Right, Jonahs. But I will use a ferrule, bushing or bearing of some ilk before I stack up an inch's worth of washers.

Go to SMA's website and get a contact number and call them. They might ship the bushings and bolts to you or tell you what they are. They have been very helpful the 2 times I have had to call about a couple of items.
