Their forum does not SUCK! It's actually pretty cool.

They have lots of cool pictures and video of Escalades taking on obstacles with names like:

"Speed Bump"
"Curb"
"Pot Hole"
"Man Hole Cover"
"Gravel"
"Tall Curb"

and the infamous

"Shopping Mall Entrance"

After all... escalades are just like Hummers.. right?

Seriously, we have a 2005 and wifey loves it. It is very comfortable if you like that sort of thing. I like my Hummer.

It's okay. Handles a lot squishier than the H2, but since it's lower, it has a bit less body roll.

I'd rather take the H2.

i own a H2 now and a guy at work has the caddy .....he thinks its a cats ass to the hummer!!! i think its just a car with a truck body! just wanted to see your guys thoughts!

OMG, the Escalade forum...."I upgraded to 24s and the gold on the rims is boggin down my stops, yo!" I kid you not. Scary place. Stay away.

The Slade is a nice ride. It depends on what you want - hubby wanted a luxury SUV with a ton of power. The Slade is the best on the market in that respect. We test drove everything except the Range Rover, and the Slade was in a league of its own.

It doesn't have the uniqueness of the H2 (just another Tahoe ), but it's a very VERY nice SUV. And it will whoop the H2's ass off the line (unless you're KenP).

ive been taking rides in the escalade now off and on for 3 months and i believe this thing is no more than a blazer with nice leather seats... has a hand watch on the dash but the time is 6 inches above it on the radio..how stupid! and has two cd players......even more stupid! i believe people just think this caddy is nice because of the symbol on the front....its no more than a blazer in my mind!!! "car with a truck body" why would anyone want a "truck" that you cant even take in 4" of mud without getting stuck.. I hate these trucks! my h2 is so much more of a truck!
