If programers remove the torque management feature, will the extra torque fry the tranny, transfer case, front or rear axles?

If this feature was not needed, why would GM have put it in?

I just spoke with my Brother in law who owns a tranny shop.. Gm puts in the limitations for a number of reasons. One being needing to meet average fuel econonmy, cost of mfg. and longevity of product.. He further stated that if you follow the instructions and guidelines from the programers mfg. you should not experience problems..HE did say "should not", and followed with : " It is a piece of machinery (H2) built buy a human, so it could break, if you want performance, custom and or cool there is always a chance it will break!"...

I would check the warranty statement from the mfg. of the programer. Just remember they all write the warranties to protect their butts ,, not yours...
